Hand forms, both solo and 2-person, are an integral part of learning the Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu system. From new beginners all the way up to advanced students, there is always something new to unlock. The hand forms will provide many healthy challenges that will help you learn and improve your technique in martial arts and self defense.
Our weapons training is a unique opportunity to learn how to use traditional martial arts weapons. Our experienced instructors will teach you how to use many different weapons with precision and power. Our weapons training includes the sword, spear, and fan, as well as the most iconic weapon from the Shaolin tradition, the staff (or pole).
These days, wooden dummies are a rarely seen aspect to training. Choy Lee Fut has a wide variety of 18 different dummies to help you progress at each level. Lion dance has long been practiced as part of many kung fu systems. It has many physical benefits and is much harder than it looks. You will improve your strength, endurance, flexibility and agility, plus it is really fun!

The term Kung Fu is used to refer to martial arts originating from China. Chinese martial arts are more properly referred to as wushu (martial art).
It is important to note that modern wushu is a performance oriented art based loosely on the traditional styles, whereas traditional wushu is a martial art practiced and refined over generations. It usually encompasses hand to hand fighting, traditional weapons, breathing and relaxation techniques, lion dancing and more.

Choy Lee Fut is a very practical system of Kung Fu known for it's fast and powerful techniques. Bruce Lee said it best, "Choy Lee Fut is the most effective system that I've seen for fighting more than one person. [It] is one of the most difficult styles to attack and defend against."
